Product Warranty

Two-Year Limited Warranty

Last updated March 15th, 2026

1. Introduction

By purchasing and using ChargeBot products, you ("Customer") accept and are bound by the terms of this Limited Warranty. This warranty is issued by Live Sust Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), the maker of ChargeBot, and applies to the original purchaser only, beginning on the date of delivery.

This warranty is valid only on products purchased from ChargeBot or an authorized seller, dealer, or reseller with proof of purchase and/or proof of delivery. To receive warranty service, you must contact us at support@getchargebot.com for problem determination before shipping anything to us.

This warranty is subject to change at our sole discretion. The most current version will always be available at getchargebot.com, and continued use of ChargeBot products after a posted change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. What Is Covered

We warranty ChargeBot products against defects in materials and workmanship when used in accordance with our user manuals, technical specifications, and published guidelines. Coverage applies as follows:

(a) Commercial and Professional Use. ChargeBot products used for commercial or institutional purposes are covered for two (2) years from the date of delivery on all materials and workmanship.

(b) Rental Use. ChargeBot products used in rental applications are not covered by this warranty. If you are unsure whether your use qualifies as rental, please contact us at support@getchargebot.com before making a claim.

3. Battery Warranty

Your ChargeBot battery is covered for two (2) years from the date of delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions below. Both years include full coverage for parts and labor.

Important: Failure to properly maintain your battery will reduce battery life and will void your battery warranty. Do not allow the battery to sit in a depleted state for extended periods.

Coverage Conditions

Battery warranty coverage applies only when one of the following defects is present:

1. The battery pack cannot be charged or discharged.

2. Under standard testing conditions, capacity falls below 80% of the nominal AH rating in Year 1, or below 70% in Year 2. Capacity must be verified using approved testing equipment by an authorized ChargeBot service center.

3. Liquid leakage from the battery pack is present and is attributable to a manufacturing defect. Leakage caused by physical damage, improper storage, or environmental exposure is not covered.

4. Damage to the battery pack's case or accessories is caused by a condition arising from the battery itself, not external damage. We may require inspection to confirm the root cause before approving a claim.

Battery Exclusions

The battery warranty does not apply in cases of:

1. Abuse or neglect, including water damage, loose wiring, or rusted or corroded hardware.

2. Lack of proper maintenance, including failure to keep the battery adequately charged during periods of storage or inactivity. Regular maintenance requirements are outlined in your owner's manual.

3. Improper installation or dismantling of the battery by anyone other than an authorized ChargeBot technician. Opening or modifying the battery pack will immediately void this warranty.

4.Damage from external force or failure to follow the owner's manual, including drops, impacts, and crush damage.

5.Exposure to sub-zero temperatures, fire, explosion, or wreckage.

6. Addition of any chemical to the battery, or operation in an overcharged or uncharged condition — including use after the BMS shuts off the battery. Operating the battery beyond its designed parameters may cause permanent damage and pose a safety risk.

7. Charging via any system other than the original equipment battery charger provided by ChargeBot. Using incompatible chargers can degrade battery performance and may create unsafe conditions.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To start a warranty claim, contact us at support@getchargebot.com or (866) 752-7878. Please have the following ready:

1. Your product's serial number, which can be found on the label affixed to the unit. If the serial number has been removed or is illegible, your claim may not be accepted.

2. Original proof of purchase and/or proof of delivery from an authorized ChargeBot seller or dealer, showing the date of purchase and full product details. Screenshots or printed copies of digital receipts are acceptable.

3. A clear description of the defect, including when it first appeared and what conditions were present. Photos or videos of the issue are helpful and may speed up the review process.

You must notify us of any alleged defect within a reasonable time of it coming to your attention, and no later than the expiry of the Warranty Period. Claims submitted after the Warranty Period expires will not be accepted.

All warranty service must be performed by ChargeBot or an authorized service center. We currently provide warranty service via mail-in only. If your claim is approved, we will send you a prepaid shipping label (for customers in the contiguous U.S.) along with instructions for properly packaging your product. Once service is complete, we will return the product to you at no additional shipping cost.

Please provide accurate and complete shipping information — we are not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.

5. Remedies

f your claim is valid and your product is found to have failed under this warranty, we will, at our option:

(a) Repair the product using new or refurbished components that meet ChargeBot's functional standards.

(b) Provide parts and instructions for you to perform the repair yourself, where applicable and safe to do so. This option is only offered for repairs that do not require specialized tools or technical certification.

(c) Exchange the product for the same model, new or refurbished, that has been tested and verified to meet ChargeBot's functional requirements. Refurbished units are inspected and certified before being offered as replacements.

(d) Exchange the product for a different model with at least equivalent functionality, where the original model is no longer available. Any replacement will be of equal or greater capability to the original product.

(e) Refund, partly or fully, your purchase price in exchange for the return of the product.

Parts or products repaired or replaced under this warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period from the date of repair or replacement. The Warranty Period will not be extended or renewed due to any subsequent exchange, resale, repair, or replacement.

If your product is found not to be covered under this warranty, you will be responsible for all parts, shipping, and labor charges. We will notify you of any such costs before proceeding with any work.

6. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

(a) Normal wear and tear, including gradual battery capacity loss over time.

(b) Components or parts not manufactured by ChargeBot that are included in or sold alongside the product. These items may be subject to their own manufacturer warranties, which we encourage you to review separately.

(c) Repairs performed by unauthorized persons, including third-party repair shops not certified by ChargeBot. Unauthorized repairs void this warranty and may create safety hazards.

(d) Damage from using the product for purposes other than its intended design, such as off-label commercial applications or use in environments the product was not built to handle. Always refer to our documentation at getchargebot.com/support for approved use cases.

(e) Damage caused by natural disasters, including fire, flood, wind, or lightning.

(f) Damage from neglect, abuse, accident, misuse, or negligence, including water damage from exposure to rain, spray, or submersion. Products should be operated and stored in accordance with the environmental specifications in your owner's manual.

(g) Repairs or replacements resulting from the use of unauthorized parts, accessories, or attachments. Only ChargeBot-approved components should be used with your product to maintain warranty coverage.

(h) Repairs or replacements resulting from any alteration or modification that adversely affects operation, performance, or durability. See also Section 7 of our Purchase Terms and Conditions at getchargebot.com/terms regarding unauthorized modifications.

(i) Any product whose serial number has been removed, altered, or made illegible. The serial number is required to verify warranty eligibility and process any service request.

(j) Depreciation or damage caused by failure to follow the owner's manual or lack of proper maintenance.

(k) Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, dealers, or resellers. ChargeBot cannot verify the condition or provenance of products sold outside our authorized network.

(l) Consumable parts that are designed to be replaced as part of routine use. If you are unsure whether a part is considered consumable, contact us before submitting a claim.

(m) Products that are lost, stolen, or provided free of charge, including promotional or giveaway items.

(n) Any product for which valid proof of purchase and/or proof of delivery cannot be provided.

7. Your Responsibilities

You must maintain your ChargeBot product in accordance with the procedures described in your owner's manual. Routine maintenance — including offseason storage — is your responsibility and expense, and failure to keep up with it may affect your warranty coverage.

Like all powered equipment, ChargeBot products are potentially dangerous if not properly operated. Before using the product, thoroughly review the owner's manual, including all safety instructions and warnings on the machine itself. All products must be used in accordance with the guidelines published at getchargebot.com/support.

8. Geographic Scope

Standard warranty coverage, including prepaid return shipping, is provided within the contiguous United States only. If you are located in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or another U.S. territory, you may still receive warranty support — however, all shipping and handling costs to and from the contiguous U.S. are your responsibility.

This warranty does not cover products purchased or used outside the United States. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product's electrical and technical specifications are compatible with local standards in the region where it is used, and ChargeBot will not be held liable for losses, damages, or consequences arising from the purchase, transport, or use of products outside the U.S.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall Live Sust Inc. be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability in tort, or any other legal theory. This includes but is not limited to:

1. Loss of profits, savings, or revenue resulting from inability to use the product. This applies regardless of whether ChargeBot was advised of the possibility of such loss.

2. Loss of use of the product or associated equipment during the period it is undergoing warranty service.

3. Cost of capital or substitute equipment, facilities, or services required while the product is unavailable. Customers are responsible for arranging and funding any interim operational needs.

4. Claims of third parties, including injury to property or persons arising from the use or failure of the product.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the purchase value of the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you. Please also refer to Section 7 (Limitation of Liability) of our Purchase Terms and Conditions at getchargebot.com/terms.

10. Time Limit for Legal Action

Any action for breach of this warranty must be commenced within twenty-four (24) months following the date of delivery of the product. Claims initiated after this period will not be accepted regardless of when the defect was discovered.

11. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without applying any rules that might invoke the laws of another state or country. Any dispute arising under this warranty is subject to the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration provisions set out in our Purchase Terms and Conditions at getchargebot.com/terms.

12. Force Majeure

This warranty constitutes the complete and exclusive agreement between you and Live Sust Inc. regarding warranty coverage, superseding all prior agreements — oral or written — and all other communications relating to this subject. If any term is found to be illegal or unenforceable, it will be removed and the remainder of this warranty will continue in full effect.
